Truth Thursday: A Reminder

“What do I do when the one I love and I believe very different things about life?”
— I.J.

Dear I.J.,

It’s always going to be about what matters more to you. Are your beliefs contradicting or lessening your love for the person? Or do you think it’s just a matter of finding common ground? Remembering that love will always be about nurturing each other’s spiritual growth is important. If your differences in your beliefs both help you respect each other and grow as a person, is it so bad?

They say change and self-sacrifice are not really about real love but have they thought that the change could be for the better? If love is so great, the effort is seen. And this effort is not just understanding, but also accepting.

I wish you the best of luck, I.J.
The stars will shine for you.
Happy Valentine’s Day!

With all the love in the world,
